AWARENESS THROUGH MOVEMENT ® classes
Come experience these remarkable mind-body classes that tap into the inner intelligence of your brain and nervous system. Find out how you too can be stronger, have more ease, be more fluid, and just plain do the things you want and love better and with more enjoyment!
Each Awareness Through Movement class helps you notive how you habitually move (and get stuck), and offers you ways to explore new options for movement that give you more freedom, strength and ease. Feldenkrais develops a foundation of learning and experience that makes your other activities (e.g. yoga, sports, running, martial arts, singing, playing with your kids, getting up and down and all around, etc.) easier and more effective. These classes are for everyone - athletes, actors, musicians, gardeners, hurtin' folks, and anyone who simply wants more ease and enjoyment in their daily life.
Wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in, and c'mon out.

POWER UP YOUR POWERHOUSE! Discover clearer strength and power through your legs, pelvic and lower back.
Your legs, pelvic and lower back are your powerhouse: this area of your body has the biggest bones and muscles, and is designed to do the heavy work and be your foundation. Efficient use of your self transmits work through the body to your powerhouse, and back out again. Effective use of and movement in this area is the fundamental aspect of agility, coordination, strength, and power. Learn more about the biomechanics of how this works, and explore how to use your powerhouse well!
FELDENKRAIS FOR RUNNERS AND WALKERS: Release your Inner Horse!
Our bodies are built to roll forward with ease and efficiency as we walk and run. Sometimes the way you use your self gets in the way of that flow – resulting in strain and too much effort. Learn about some of the biomechanics involved, and experience for your self some greater freedom and ease of movement to help you run and walk with greater capacity and enjoyment.

INTRO TO THE FELDENKRAIS® APPROACH: Feldenwhat? Feldenkrais – it rhymes with rice. Come find out and experience what this intelligent, effective approach to greater ease and improved movement is all about. (1.5 hour mini-workshop)
TIGHT HIPS? Find greater length, comfort and range of motion. Has conventional stretching still left you with tight hips? Come learn how your movement patterns affect your hips, and how you can find greater length and ease without strain. Workshop includes ideas for how to warm-up effectively without strain. (3 hours)
TIGHT NECK AND SHOULDERS? Find sweet release, and more strength! Are your neck and shoulders often tight and/or sore? Experience movements that open up this area without strain, and learn how to tap into your upper body strength more comfortably and effectively. (3 hours)

Who knew that a squat, lifting or pushing something, and striding forward with power, could feel this strong and easy! This workshop is great for athletes, people who work out, and anyone who wants good strength and power for the things you do in life. (3 hours)
